Southwest Turquoise Needlepoint Blossom or Cross Earrings
~ Contemporary Southwest Needlepoint Earrings ~
- Southwest Reflection: Needlepoint jewelry is labor intense, each piece is unique and truly a work of art. The stones are cut one-by-one until they fit the bezel they are to be set in. A rich black background can be created by oxidizing the silver with calf liver oil. Scrap silver is heated until it bubbles, then cooled and polished, to form the silver balls.
- Southwest Needlepoint Cluster or Cross Earrings.
- Using traditional needlepoint techniques, these
earrings are handcrafted of sterling silver and set with cut and polished
turquoise. Both
earring styles feature sterling silver
posts.
