October Will Soon Be Here!
Life sure is crazy, isn't it? Where does the time go? A full half of the year is ALREADY gone! The class reunion (Sat. Oct. 11) will be here before we realize it. We've had very little response to our letter so far. We're hoping it's just because your life is as much of a whirlwind as ours are, and not because you don't plan on attending.
We've heard some classmates comment that they don't have anything in common with the rest of us. Well, we beg to differ with that! If you've made it this far in life, we have a great deal in common! (Families, jobs, life experiences, and just surviving it all.) Some have said they didn't feel accepted in high school, "so why come to a reunion?" How sorry we are if that's the case, but let's hope we've all matured enough by now that we can realize just how equal, and alike, we all are. Come, and let's all get reacquainted with that new perspective.
To those of you who have already responded with your info, THANK YOU! Those who haven't, won't you please do so now, whether you're planning to attend or not. Snail mail or e-mail the DHS Class of '68 Update, it doesn't matter. Just do it!
Please send the RSVP with your check ASAP. We need to have everything by September 1st at the VERY LATEST! Those who have not been to previous reunions, we sincerely hope you'll come join us at this one. We're excited to see you "ALL" again.
